What our clients say about us.
Head Coach Australian U20 Wheelchair Basketball
Director of Australian Athletes with Disabilities Assn.
"...the vehicle we travelled in was the best equipped I have encountered during my time in this sport in any venue in the world. Your own disposition and ability as a tour guide in providing us with some welcome sight-seeing diversions from our training and playing schedule was very much appreciated by players and management. I would certainly recommend you on any future trip for us to New Zealand, and to any disabled group of people who require prompt and comfortable transportation."
New Zealand Rugby Foundation
"The New Zealand Rugby Foundation has used the services of the Easy Rider mobility bus since 2009 to transport wheelchair based people and their care-givers around sporting events. We have never been let down. The increased transport logistics in Auckland around the British and Irish Lions tour 2017 were always going to prove challenging. Through thorough planning, flexibility and outstanding communication Dirk and his team exceeded all expectations and delivered a fine service to our VIPs. Cant speak highly enough of them."
Friendship and Senior Citizens Club Ngaruawahia
"We set of from Ngaruawahia 8.30 Tuesday morning with Dirk our driver for the day out in Otorohanga, having morning tea at the little cafe on main street, and then of to the Kiwi House ,wow that was great and we saw the Kiwis. One of our members took many photos, we then went on to the big Apple for lunch.
Spending time in the shops there.
We had a wonderful driver Dirk who laughed and joked with us all day, and joined in in all our activities.
He was so kind to all our members in wheelchairs walkers and just needing that extra bit of care. He was also terrific with our young disabled boy Brodey and played and talked to him.he also taught him how to put a fidgit spinner on his nose. We would recommend Dirk to take disabled people and people in wheel chairs as it is the only Bus in the Waikato that can do this."
John Sigurdsson Lead Adviser
Halberg Disability Sport Foundation
Taranaki, Whanganui & Manawatu
"In 2017, Halberg Disability Sport Foundation ran an event in Auckland and we had 130 physically disabled athletes attending from around New Zealand. Transport was a big job so we used Dirk and his Easyrider bus to take athletes to and from the airport. This service was essential to our event and was done in a friendly and efficient manner. We will definitely use Easyrider again in 2018
Thanks. Ngā mihi."
Cambridge Stroke and Rehabilition Club.
"The Cambridge Stroke Club have used the Easy Rider bus for outings for many years. We do not go anywhere our wheelchair people can't go. The Easy Rider enables us to go on the outings, whether it be one wheelchair or five wheelchairs.
The last couple of years Dirk Immenga has owned Easy Rider and we have had many a successful outing with him.
He is very patient, caring and respectful with all our members and willing to help while out and about. He is easy to deal with and always happy to accommodate us, willing to share his knowledge of different areas and is always looking out for new places of interest for us to visit.
We have been on many interesting outings to, Tauranga, Rotorua, Raglan, as well as outings closer to home.
Without the Easy Rider bus we would not be able to do these outings as a group. For some members it is the only time they get outside of our town.
Thank you Dirk for offering us a service, with the Easy Rider bus, which we so appreciate and value."
President NZ Wheelchair Rugby
“In Aug of 2017 NZ Wheelchair Rugby hosted its first International Wheelchair Rugby Tournament in nearly a decade. The logistics involved were incredibly challenging. Knowing that we could rely on Dirk and the EasyRider bus to transport players between the hotel and venue was a great relief. We would certainly use Dirk again and would recommend his service if you need to be assured things will get done”
